The Programme Planning and Coordination Unit is responsible for programme planning, programme coordination and results-based management.

More specifically, it is responsible for preparation of UN-HABITAT’s biennial results-based Strategic Framework, the biennial results-based Work Programme and annual Work Plan. The Unit ensures that the above planning documents are informed by the knowledge management system.

The Unit oversees implementation and mainstreaming of results-based management in UN-HABITAT, including coordinating training in results-based management. The Unit also provides support to the Programme Review Committee, ensuring that all the programme/project documents are compliant with the Medium Term Strategic and Institutional Plan .
