 Officials from the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Royal Norwegian Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development (KRD) this week held talks with UN-HABITAT's Executive Director, Mrs. Anna Tibaijuka to discuss the renewal of a Programme Cooperation Agreement between the Norwegian Government and UN-HABITAT for the period 2008-2009.
The Norwegian delegation comprised Mr. Erik Berg, senior advisor to the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Per Nygaard Director General, Ms. Mona Helland, Senior Advisor from KRD, the Ambassador, Ms. Elisabeth Jacobsen, and the Deputy Permanent Representative of Norway to UN-HABITAT, Mr. Andre Thomas Eid. Norway is one of UN-HABITAT’s key donors and has been party to a Programme Cooperation Agreement with the agency since 2006. |
