 From 16 to 21 June 2008 the International Urban Training Centre, IUTC, will organize a course on urban ecological restoration. The course targets project managers and officers from local authorities, non-governmental organizations and the private sectors from the Asian and Pacific region, working in the field of engineering, construction, environment and urban planning.
UN-HABITAT, UCLG-ASPAC and ESA Adolfson collaborate with the IUTC in organizing this course. The course will provide the participants with an opportunity to learn and discuss eco-restoration as an approach to sustainable urbanization in the Asia and Pacific region. Case studies from participants and field trips in Korea will complement theory and methodology which will be provided by Korean and North American lecturers.
The registration is open from 14 April to 16 May, 2008.
