 An esteemed member of UN-HABITAT’s international staff, Mr. Brian Williams, passed away suddenly at the weekend. He was 51.
Brian, Chief of the Energy and Transport Section, Human Settlements and Financing Division, joined the agency in 1995. “Brian was a highly respected human settlements professional and an acknowledged expert in his field of energy and transport. His contribution will be irreplaceable,” said the Executive Director, Mrs. Anna Tibaijuka. “We will also miss him as a valued friend and remember him as a role model of a father committed to his family.” Brian leaves his wife, and their two children, a boy, 8, and a girl, 10. |
