To enhance credit and support housing and infrastructure improvement for low income end users, UN-HABITAT through the Urban Finance section, has set up finance facilities in Ghana, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Tanzania. At the same time, efforts are underway to set up the same facilities in Kenya, Mozambique and Uganda.

This leaflet provides a brief of the established Local Finance Facilities, the disbursement schedule and introduces the possibilities of extending this to other countries.
